new to NYSPD, 96 T-Bird

Mike is not a dick.He is Lazy. But all in all he is a good guy and very willing to help anyone withen reason. The issue’s he had at TCCoA were about him being lazy and not shipping rims across the country. To my knowlage and the last time I talked to him he had sent the money back with a bonus.

thats good, it seemed like he was treated unfairly. from what i remember, a lot of guys did the whole “lets grab popcorn and watch” thing at his expense. good to hear that it’s been resolved!

 welcome.

anyone else an MN12 owner in WNY? i’d love to see other guys bring out their Birds and Cougars, especially if you have a 3.8:grouphug:

Make sure to say hello to Jelica

HAHAH nahh just a good friend Norb :rx3:

hmm who the hell could be called Mr. Twinkie…

-either someone with a beat-up 4DR shit civic and a del sol

-or someone with a 240SX

-or someone who drives a garbage hyundai/broken STi.

ironically, they all work together.

enlighten me!:spunk:

welcome, my dad has a 97 tbird

EDIT: nm, F U with the del sol twinkie COMMENT

:gotme:i think you’re a little confused…i used to work with a kid, he said he was recently going to buy a del sol (for a better car). as of the moment he actually owns a beater civic. that might be who mr. twinkie is.

anyways, tell me more about your dad’s bird…

HAHHAHA right on Fuzzy. Havent seen you around since Lancaster track night

word im just being a silly goose

he has a V6 as well, its that umm, very light teal color, i got him some clear corners and he has it lowered a bit too…he just keeps it real clean… hes a ASE tech so its in tip top shape and is stored away at winter… he REALLY wanted a V8 but never was able to find one he wanted… do people supercharge the V6s?

i’m not exactly a full blown expert on this, but for the most part, not really. there are quite a few differences between the old SC block and mine and your dad’s NA V6, meaning they’re not really designed to hold boost as well as the SC blocks. off the top of my head, we have a weaker crank (i think it’s non-forged), among other things. not to say i haven’t seen it done before…if you take a look at www.tccoa.com, there’s a V6 owner on there who bolted on a blower. his specs:

1996 Thunderbird LX 3.8L
-255rwhp 273rwtq-
-Vortech V1 S-trim supercharger@8psi, aftercooled-

that’s according to him. he goes by the username “rancherlee”, and is a nice guy. tell your dad to jump on there and do some research, there’s plenty of info out there. and try to post some pics of the bird!
