Engine I plan (money depending) on building this winter is based on similar specs to a friend in Cali who has done some amazing work on his engine with the help of head work from Dave Rebello (Rebello Racing).
141 whp and 131 lb/ft tourque on his dyno sheet…and perfectly streetable. Of course all this comes with piles of money so we’ll see what comes to fruition.
Not too shabby for a 40+ year old 2L engine. What does the NA SR make? I love the idea of keeping the original engine in the car instead of a swap and getting this kind of power into a 2,000 lb car.
a 9.5:1 N/A SR20DE makes about 120whp stock. a stock SR20VE makes about 187whp
