cage looks good… Does the front seat still go all the way back?
cage looks damn good. When you paint it dont get it all over the interior 
there is no way in hell it can. unless the back of the seat is totally upright. this guy has to be short or just is going to deal with it. im 6’2" and my seat is all the way back and slightly tilted in gangsta position. and the back of the seat rubs the back seat… and his in thie pic is like 6" away and the head rest is pretty damn close to the cross bar.
cage is sick and car is nasty i love it
fran is a big guy im sure they made it so he will be comfortable
meh cage isn’t that bad. sadly looks like i will have to pass on lsx shootout this year… Car wont be done and andrey and myself came down with swine flu and were out for the count a few days…set us back to much.
will be going to MIR though…so that should be fun.
I have seen Fran and know that he is a big guy thats why I was asking. I would have just ripped out the back set and set the main hoop there like Jeff did on the 240. Not being able to put the seat all the way back would drive me nuts.
I look forward to seeing this car run at MIR. Should be a great time with all the people going.

meh not really. i bought the car to be a street/strip toy. i knew a cage was going into it when i got it.

ok so the cam is now in the car. sadly we now have another issue. seems the camshaft position sensor is throwing a fit. any ideas on where it may be located to make sure its hooked up. And if it is hooked up then I can start looking into other possible issues. And yes without a cmp working correctly it rarely fires up on the first turn of the key…grrr.
What type of cam did u use, what type of timing chain do u use, and what type of timing chain gear did u use? I just finished a swap in a new camaro a montha ago and depending on what type of cam u use u may have need to switch some things around.
I didnt think that gear would work,It dosnt have the timming mark like ur single bolt one did,take a pic of ur old front gear & post it,u can see the mark plane as day,goes have way around & stop then restarts!

if u went with a 3 bolt style cam then u need this gear.

Cam position sensor is the sensor right on the timing cover btw.

blew out the clutch though. started slipping pretty bad on this run and got worse and worse as the night progressed. Any opinions on clutches. Not much on the market for us yet…
