New wiring for audio

I bought a Panasonic deck today and decided to install it myself, since I have idone so many times before. So as I removed the stock cassette (btw - it dosnt work, broken i guess) I noticed wires were all over the place because the last owner had a system in there. It wasnt really a problem since I can just look at the colour chart and see what wire belongs where.

Now the problem is that I got 2 red wires with black stripes, and 2 blue wires which are 12v acc. I know there arn’t supposed to be 2. I dont think the Battery ones work because i tried to wire it in many ways but couldn’t get it.

So the question now is should try to Re-wire the audio wires myself, as in the Battery 12V directly from the box to the deck as with the ACC 12V and the rest? I dont think it can be too hard, has someone here done it before, I would like to get any tips that might help.
So any suggestions?

-thanks

Did the guy hack off the harness to install the aftermarket deck? i hope not … if he didn’t you can just buy a harness adapter and all you have to do is match the colors.

If the last owner had a system one of the wires might be for the 12V+ remote wire

Here man… Search and you shall find.
All i typed was “stereo wiring”

I had the same problem when i bought mine, the previous owner was ghetto and didn’t put in a harness, he went wires to wires.
I think the link should help you out somewhat…

a volt meter and a 9v battery are your best friends right now
