Welcome

Come to the Onyx Syndicate Dunnville event July 25th!

welcome

Nice car. I think I’ve seen it at the log cabin in years past.

How is that swaintech white lightning holding up aesthetically.

Nice car, BTW.

Thanks for the welcomes and compliments.

I’m planning to go to the Dunnville event next weekend and would like to follow whoever is going to the 240 meet in Canada that Sunday.

Yes, I occasionally go to the Log Cabin on Wednesday’s.

The Swain Tech coating is holding up great. Not so much concerend with it’s appearance vs the function.

Welcome. Thats thing is super clean, I look forward to seeing it at dunnville on sat.

While I appreciate the functionality, I’m a little bit of a ricer and question it’s visual longevity. Do you have many “post use” pictures?

I had the White Lightning powder coated black with a high temp coating so it blended with the rest of the engine bay stuff. The WL tends to produce little stelagtite things that may cause concern to those who are in it for looks. Plus, it’ll get dirty real quick from the grease on your hands. But it’s the best heat barrier made. It’s about .015 thick compared to a ceramic coating like JetHot which is only .003 thick. As is always the case, you get what you pay for.

How is the black PC over it holding up?

This is the reason I ask. My DP is pretty close to my valve cover…

Nice Car, very clean

I had all the cold pipes, VC and intercooler end tanks powder coated with a crinkle black. Not sure how it would hold up being so close to the VC but if you have the DP WL coated you should be OK. RB26 = MMMMMM, torque.

Where are you located? Is that a 510 in the picture? Looks nice.

Thanks Jeller

It’s an 87 325IS

But how well did putting HT PC over the swaintech coating work out? Is it flaking off or anything?

With a last name like Schumacher I guess it was probably a requirement that you be a track whore.

I remember seeing this car at log cabin several years ago. Super clean. Welcome!

The HT PC over the WL didn’t hold up real well. Looks more like a real dirty black now.

LOL!!! All their talent, none of their money.
