is it necissary to use high temp paint when repainting your valve cover? ive been looking around on some forums and the colors some ppl are using look great but there is now way they are high temp paints. (do to the limited number of colors of hi temp) i dont realy see why it would have to be high temp maybe just heat resistant? but realy i am a total painting newb thats why i ask.
Why not just get it powder coated?
think i just found my answer, as long as you use hi heat primer you can use any color.

but again powder coating is way more baller.
ya i know dont cant realy take the down time to get it powder coated because it is my daily driver, maybe in the winter i will but until then…
