Newbie from Lowville

Hey all. I was recommended to this forum a week or so ago and figured I’d give it a try. I am currently a proud owner of a 2002 Focus Svt; I haven’t done any major performance mods to it yet largely because it’s such a good car to start with (unless you love big power). Looking forward to hanging out on here and getting to know some of you better.

And here are some quick pictures of the car.

Welcome

welcome. I I’ve never heard of lowville, but I assume nobody in town has wheel gap.

Welcome! Love that color blue!

Cough! Focusinginprogress cough! Looks like you have another friend!

Nick just came in his pants lol

im surprised you didnt take pics of the car up on the windfarm near rector rd. I remember lowville pretty well, welcome!

Wassup

Haha

For some reason, most people tend to go up. It’s a redneck in Northern NY about an hour east and a little down of Watertown.

Here’s one from a year ago.

And thanks for the welcome everyone.

I snowmobiled in Lowville, right by those very wind turbines. Welcome.

Where’s nick at? Lol
Welcome!

hes probably faping to these pics, or doing his rs conversion lol.

Thanks again for the welcome. This place seems to be more active than some of the nationwide forums I’m part of.

Yup, that’s the right area. Most of the pictures in here are from the Tug Hill region but some are also on the Adirondack Park side. Lowville is in a valley with a big hill on one side and a lot of mountains on the other.

Negative. Vintage motor cycle weekend brah

I was working on the crews that built chases lake substation and rector rd substation back in the mid 2000’s. all the power generated by the windfarm goes through those stations. Well, at least with the first group of turbines. It def was an interesting job.

Welcome, clear looking car, sonic blue! I’ve been looking hard trying to buy a svt focus for a daily.

It was interesting watching all the towers and everything else attached to them get built up. It was quite a unique experience watching it happen.

There’s a black Svt for sale in the Utica area on Craigslist. The motor has had some slight work on it but looks clean and well taken car of. I can find the link for it if your interested.

Yes. The Barnhart guys were putting up 2x turbines a day. They go together in 4 sections, then the generator section and then the blades. You should see even one of the blades on the ground, they are fucillo huge.

I have to use a string trimmer all around two of those blades every week so I know how big they are. :stuck_out_tongue:

This one? http://utica.craigslist.org/cto/3148365189.html

Yup, that one.
