These are still with prototype CAI (OTR) units. There have been 4-5 different styles tested, with all different results. But the last few are showing good gains, and with further R&D over some more time a final product we be available.

I was there a couple weeks ago when getting my Cavy tuned… nice to see you guys got it figured out, those are some awesome results for just an intake! Keep up the good work New Era!
I think before I left the stop tonight, mike said he was going to NYI this weds. He also just did a trans only tune, and wants to run that and see how much of a gain that is. The auto cars stock tune looks to be limited a ton in the trans, and torque management controlling. Let alone engine output, so he’ll probably test then just for himself. probally on the stock airbox and everything. I’ll post up and info form that.
Thats some sweet gains. Looked extremely well made in person and lots of different prototypes to find the best gains for the most reasonable price. I was impressed with Mike’s thoroughness.
I’m not 100% sure, I know he wanted too. But think he only had like 3 passes and went home, there are about to have another kid and I know he didn’t want to be out all night. I think the track was a slow DA that night anyway, he can try that later. But The 12.9 and going 108 was really good, there’s not alot of info in the auto cars and the m6 are eaiser to tune and go fast with min mods.
ya, it not just a open cone on a tube off the TB that might dyno good with the hood open.
I sealed off my lower airbox and run 2 4inch ducts to my grills and the car with the lid, tune and free mods, went from like a 12.9 @110 to a 12.6 @112.5. And to this day if I pull the filter at the track its no gain, but on the dyno shows 2-3whp.
Its a very well tested intake system for making power, AND making the car faster.
