and not run them over the tranny? perhaps, but it would be annoyingly tight… and i’d rather keep the exhaust on the passenger side…
I actually thought about this, but ruled it out, because I think this is simpler. I had to build a tunnel anyway. I also considered using ovalized tubing to slip by the steering shaft, but that was going to be a PITA and substantially more expensive.
However, 2 X 1.75ID is only 4.81 in^2, VS 7.06 for 1 X 3ID…
In order to simply match the CS area of a 3", you’d need a pair of 2.06 ID pipes.
