Newman's 1986 BMW 326rb build thread.

Looks great man!

No hairy burnouts for my wedding though. :frowning:

Are you going to wrap the down pipe or just leave it for now?

love the firewall panel that you built… looks great.

I was driving my E30 to work today and thinkin about how if I had > 2x the power I would be dead already without a lot more tire.

That’s some pretty sick exhaust routing but aren’t you afraid of heat?

slightly off-topic, I just noticed it says there’s 110 pages but I can only see up to 108. I hope I’m not missing anything.

it happens a lot for some reason, I dont think you are missing anything

50 post/ page is better btw

Didn’t do shit all weekend.

This is what’s left:

*Mount master cyl reservoir
*Plumb reservoir
*Bleed brakes

*Wire chassis
*Install HIDs

*Install windshield
*Install body panels
*Install/cut dash

*Make/improve accelerator pedal

*Buy driveshaft

*Fluids

I think that’s about it before it can drive.

you have until the 5th to complete.

i miiiight be driving mine this weekend. granted it would only be around the driveway. haha.

+1 for labor day weekend coming up.

looks like this might turn into the next speed-hunters feature:

nice work

Last night I didn’t get a lot done except make a really large mess.

Started cutting up my scrap dash to see how i need to cut the other one…

Having a really hard time getting motivated lately.

^I know Paulo mentioned it too but if you need a hand with anything shoot me a PM

If you need a hand I can lend one.

I can give you a hand with that massive wiring job. Ask 91MR2.

hmm, it would be nice to have someone who is good at wiring help out.

I am good at wiring, but it’s def nice to have a second set of hands.

You have the hard part of wiring done. The rest just takes time. It will be running before you know it.

Or perhaps the culmination of three years work is a little over whelming?
