i think it turned out amazing…we all know Newman and how he is…he made this car his own to his liking…aside from the paint being off which he knows and has stated many times that he knows its off…the car is amazing…i cant wait to see it in person
A rusted hood, 10* of camber, and some triangle tires would really set this thing off. LOL

I was expecting less maturity from that thread, but for the most part I felt there were some valid points…from both sides. Cars like this are great for the hobby, for many can learn from the process you went through, and should be motivated and inspired to hit the garage on their own ride and come up with something unique. Nice job mang, way to hang in there all this time:tup:

Without digging through this huge thread…maybe it has been covered…but any idea how the paint mismatch came about? Did you paint the fenders a different day?
Your demeanor in that thread seems much different. Which certainly fueled more hate, and yielded less respect from those people. Not that it matters.
I’m assuming a lot of those people didn’t actually go through your entire build considering the things they are hating on. One kid said it was probably a “beat” E30. :picard:
Either way, it doesn’t make a difference. You love it, that’s all you should need. I’m just glad you’re able to enjoy this now. After such a long process, it must feel amazing.
HiHater license plate and a samurai sword to decapitate anyone who mentions the paint or intercooler is all I see missing. Love this car so much.
