I was just wondering what the nexus card was all about, and if anybody on here has one.

I have been to the website, but they don’t answer some questions…

I obviously can get one, I already have a passport, so proving my identity is not the problem.

If you have a nexus card, can you just drive over the boarder without any inspection?

I assume that each person in the car will need a nexus card…

Is it like ez pass or do they stop you?

Do you have to wait in the long line at the boarder, or is there a special line for nexus (I haven’t seen one)…

All Detroit borders have nexus lanes. They can stop you still, but it is much quicker.
I was going to do it but I hear the background check takes a while. Plus they can revoke it pretty quickly.

i got one.took a whole year of backround checks and all sorts of whatnot in order to get it…
just drive in to the nexus lane.flash your card on the reader and drive on through.they do random checks sometimes
