but it has been a messed up season for sure. specially everything you just mentioned above. i thought for sure the lions were going to do a 5-11, but after giving out a beating today, maybe they wont. well see, being a diehard packer fan (for years, not a new fan) thanksgiving will be a great game this year! first time they face the lions.
You did see who we were drafting under Millen/Morninghway right? Charles Rodgers…Roy Williams…Mike Williams…absolutely brutal. Mike Williams ended up resurrecting his career under his college coach Pete Carroll in Seattle…Roy Williams has been a huge disappointment his entire career…Charles Rodgers, well, I don’t think he has been out of jail enough to even think about being in the NFL. Thankfully under new management we got Stafford (when he’s healthy), Megatron, Suh, Fairley, Etc and have really built depth in the draft with picks like Jahivd Best, Brendon Pettigrew, Mikael LaShoure (will play next year, blew out ACL in preseason), and lots of pieces else where. The best thing we ever did was get the likes of Mayhew in the front office, Schwartz as head coach, Cunningham/Linehan as DC and OC…just changed the whole environment in Det…absolute breath of fresh air from where we were jus ta couple years ago.
