Front page of the paper this morning, the flyers are hoping to take Patrick Kane, the guy from i think it was hamburg that the sabres brought up for a few games last season, in the first or second round of the draft.
Didn’t a few guys on here know him or were friends with him?
i thought he was said to probably go 1st overall
He never played for the sabres and he’s from south buffalo. He’s a sick hockey player.

top 3 choices to go 1st overall are patrick kane, kyle turris, and james vanriemsdyk.
Flyers & Chicago are both expected to go for Kane first
a lot of speculation here too that the flyers are gonna try hard to sign briere

The blackhawks will get kane, I dont think there are many other big names in this years draft. Not that you ever see most of them until 4 years later.

Kane is from south buffalo
Kaleta is from Angola who the sabres called up last season
You cant draft someone that has already played in the NHL. Think about it.

last i checked crosby was about 6’ and close to 200lbs :gotme:
briere is about 5’9" 5’10", as he is taller than me and i am 5’8"…briere also gets tossed like a rag doll nearly every game he plays…its what made him oh-so-effective in the playoffs…not saying he doesn’t have heart, but every time he gets wailed on its a deep breath and hope that he gets back up…

Ive been on the ice with Briere and stood next to him off skates, he is no where near 5’9’‘. Im a hair over 5’‘8’’ and i bet im about 6 inches taller than he is!!
