A fun event every year with one of the best groups around. A very liberal passing policy, and great instructors. Hope to see some of you out there this year.

I plan on attending

Who does the tech inspections (I see you have to get one filled out and signed off) and how much do they generally cost?

I generally do the tech form on my own car as I know it better than anyone else. Then you also go through basic tech at the track (wheels torqued, no leaks, brake pads in good condition, etc). I highly suggest having a shop like Innovative do an inspection for your casual track participant.

that’s a great price! I need to get to work on the E30 one of these days.

I’ll make it out there one of the days to hang out. Don’t quite know about taking off both Mon and Tues.

I was just reading on M5 board a bunch of people are going May 3-4.

Niagara is a much better group with better instructors and a significantly more “open” passing policy than PDA. You don’t have to deal with trains of cars like in most other groups.

I have been to this one a bunch of times.
Make sure to sign up early because it sells out fast, I mean in a couple of days.

That’s a good price. I’d like to commit, but I’m not booking any days until the track car is actually boost-able. Hopefully I’ll see you there.

i plan on attending. looking forward to doing a bigger track and learning some stuff

someday…i think i’d need a beginner school first because i have zero track experience besides rowing the quarter mile.

The instructors at this are very very very good. You would be more than comfortable in Green run group (Novice), trust me. If you have any concerns about being new, I HIGHLY suggest you email Chief Instructor Rich DeAsis dechiefinstructor@niagarapca.org

Same. Pre-Tech inspections basically insure that a qualified person checks over the car prior to the event to make sure everything is safe and solid and that your wear items have plenty of meat/life left on them. Qualified doesn’t mean certified or professional…you just have to know what you’re doing when maintaining all aspects of the car. Afterall it’s your life on the line out there.

I’d like to make this event…might burn a couple vacation days.

well when I have everything sorted on the car (wouldn’t be track safe ATM) I’ll most likely be speaking with you.

I have to come back to Buffalo for jury duty some time around then, plus my koseis/azenis are still at my parent’s. maybe I’ll endure the brutal 12 hour drive home in the touring again and join yall.

staying at the seneca lodge?

I will be, of course

I’ve gone the last several years, but I think I’m gonna have to skip it this year due to date conflicts.

bump. who’s going?
