Nick Hogan totals his Supra, hurt pretty good.
nothing good can come of racing a 900 HP supra on small 2 lane road, torque Steer FTL in this case.

That road is NOT a small 2-lane road, its a extremely busy street in clearwater

cant wait till that episode airs, too bad the show is about 4 or 5 months behind when it actually happened. So it wont be for a while proly. But thats how all reality shows are. Why is his last name bollea?
they dont tape them year round, only a few months out of the year and alot of things are set up during that time that will make for good shows.

Bollea is the hogan family’s real last name Hulk Hogan is a stage name for Terry Bollea so the rest of the family takes on that last name to stand out more or whatever u want to call it.

Nick is an asshat. He has no interest in cars, or he would learn and respect them. I love how he wrecked the drifto viper twice in the same day. Normal people build up to the threshold of the car to understand and get a feel for it. No, he just wants to say that he is a drifter, flaunt his car list and has his racing license. Take expensive cars and overdrive the shit out of them. I’d like to do that too, so maybe there’s a little jealousy there. If the kid had half a brain, he would respect shit and learn about it. Also, he would pick a less subjective sport like RACING instead of drifting. Racing is a timed speed competition. Does the fastest car win in drifting? It’s not racing.

As for the passenger, if he doesn’t want to preserve his life by wearing a seat belt, that’s his problem not Nick’s. The kid is 5 years older than Nick with a bit more life experience (military), he should have been making sure Nick was in check. Yea, it sucks and I hope the kid is okay, really, but WTF? Is Nick supposed to make sure all of his passengers eat well, and take their vitamins too? Where does it end? If the kid is under 18, then I agree, make them buckle up. Otherwise suggest it and move on.

I’ve never seen a pretzel car in a normal speed accident. I like how they are suggesting that it was a normal accident, not involving high speeds. If that’s true, it must have been a paper mache Supra!

have you people ever seen what an unstrapped body does in a car crash??

I suggest you start making your passengers wear there seat belts

If you get pulled over because your passenger isn’t wearing a seatbelt, who gets the ticket?

if you get pulled over because your passenger is riding on the roof, who gets the ticket?

The driver is responsible for the passengers.

if you get pulled over b/c your passenger isnt wearing a belt, the passenger gets the ticket. Ive had it happen before. Neither of us had em on and we both got seatbelt tickets

> 18 they get the ticket < 18 driver is responsible

Edit: as it should be…

Learned something today.

But would you allow someone to ride along in your car at Dunnville unbelted?

Certainly not. Any time I’m on course everyone better be buckled up! If someone is in the car with me I drive safely. I’ve never had a passenger refuse to buckle up. If they did, I think I would drive like an old lady.

I still think that people need to take responsibility for themselves.

So you’re saying if you’re going to run at TMP, you’d force them to buckle up, knowing that in a high speed situation you could make a mistake that might result in a crash. He’s street racing a 900 hp Supra. Where’s the difference?

Agreed, people need to take responsibility for themselves. But when you as the driver are about to do something stupid you should take a minimum responsibility for your passengers and require them to buckle up. If you don’t and they get hurt you are at least partially at fault.

The difference is I’m more responsible than Nick. I agree that a driver SHOULD take a minimum responsibility, but the real burden lies with the passenger.
