Ninja 250

I’m trying to find one for a friend who wants to start out riding. I know someone selling a 98 with like 17xxx miles for $1500. This seems to be a little high.

Do you guys know of anyone selling? I’ve been checking craigs list.

they should really look into a 600… theyll be bored in a week with a 250 … esp depending on their size

meh, thats pretty close to what they go for.

I concur.

you can always buy this for 1500… ride it for 2-3 months, get used to it… and sell it for what you paid for it soon after.

not to mention be getting 60-80 mpg the entire time you’re learning

I would say search for a ninja 500.

I think he should get a 600 aswell. My first bike was a gsxr 600. I got it a year ago and I didn’t have a problem learning on it. I have over 16,000 miles riding, in one year since I got it.

I know, I know. I’m glad I got my 600, but I’m not sure it’s best for her. She’s a bad driver and not so sure about the 600. Besides she’s like 5"2’, 110 lbs.

So no one knows of anyone selling one then? Haha.

In that case, here is a couple if you didn’t see them.

I rode a ninja 250 for a whole summer…great gas mileage…fun and easy to learn on

paid $2k sold for 2$k, it was an '05

I recommend it

if the bikeis a decent roadworthy machine 1500 bucks is not a issue. look close at the tires , fork seals, chain and sprockets, if its due for a valve adjustment etc…the usual stuff. verify its got no funky engine noises and shifts ok… 1500 bucks for a nice 250 …if its nice is ok. this holds true for its bro…the ex 500.
