omg the drawings looked 10x better
the interior is gay especially with the console shifter
the front end looks like it belongs on a pathfinder
conclusion…ghey!!!
reminds me of a scion tc w/ nissan front end… rear spoiler looks kinda cool… retractable?
not really digging the console shifter too much but they arnt too bad after driving a ep… but in all honesty looks like it could be fun to drive.
i hate little cafs. is this thing RWD? highly unlikely. the shifter looks like they ripped it out of the nissan quest.
this car is ghey, but looks better than an echo/neon/ insight/focus. still wouldn’t buy it though, not my cup o’ tea.
It doesn’t look like a sports car… Is this the thing that’s supposed to replace the 240? And whoever said it looked better in the drawings is 100% right.
the front end looks like a cross over w/ the G35 and the murano…
G35 lights, murano grille…
Flatten it, then slam it. No more than 49" tall please. Throw a leather boot on the naked shifter. Then we’re talking. Some of the car looks great. SOME.
SUMMARY!
The problem with this car is, you can’t fit big enough wheels on it for it to look normal… Otherwise, yea, DFJ makes some great points, slam it, leather boot, etc.
cars these days are just built higher for some reason? look at the siR civic, toyota matrix, vw beetle, catch my drift? i love low cars, but no matter how low u slam a new civic, it still sits very tall in comparison to a slammed 240sx, 300zx, rx7 and other coupes from the 90’s. some new, wierd trend i guess.
i hate how the front looks so short too, like it got punched in or something??
It’s FWD.
Ick.
BUT they claim it’s a turbo QR25DE, that’d be pretty nuts
The Nissan AZEAL Coupe Concept is a fresh interpretation of the classic sports coupe. The essence of the AZEAL is its clean, straightforward, agile exterior combined with a modern, driver-oriented, highly interactive interior.
AZEAL features an aggressive body design with wide fender flares, short overhangs and a sharply sloped rear roofline with integrated active airfoil. The interior combines a dark, industrial metallic instrument panel appearance contrasted by Wasabi Chartreuse fabric seats and an open greenhouse with glass-panel roof.
The AZEAL design exercise is the first concept car created by Nissan Design America’s (NDA) new studio in Farmington Hills, Mich.
“The idea behind the AZEAL is that an entry-level vehicle doesn’t have to look entry-level. Though AZEAL has the compact dimensions of a small coupe, it projects a much larger presence in terms of style, personality and desirability,” said Bruce Campbell, vice president, design, NDA.
The front-wheel drive AZEAL utilizes a turbocharged version of Nissan’s 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It rides on 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a unique sandblasted and painted surface treatment.
If they lowered the front end it’d look good, like a mini G35C
By lowered I mean THINNER… it looks weird with the hood and the trunk the same height, probably it’s for that “when you hit someone in the road there is a 0.000001% chance they will suffer less injuries” that is shaping all new cars to be ugly snubnosed POSes…
I still hope they bring it to market it’d be an SRT-4 killer if it’s got a turbo 2.5
so, is this car to replace the sentra? 200sx?? turbo motor sounds interesting, but u still can’t sell me on a FWD toy.
I like the front lights
I like it.
i like it too, the main things i dislike like about it, specifically the interior and certain parts of the front end probably wont amke it to production anyway, i wouldnt buy it but i like it
its all europes fault and they’re 2008 standards, its like 6" of cromple zone underneath the hood before the top of the engine.
