Nissan goes batshit with the 2010 GT-R T&C's

This car is becoming less and less attractive with every single news release lol.

+1

When I heard about a 500 hp Nissan AWD 4 seater with an interface designed by the Gran Turismo team, and a better Nurburgring speed than the 911 Turbo, I was in love. It was going to be my next car.

Now, I’m hardly interested. Unreliable, expensive, legalese warranty coverage that amounts to no coverage at all if you enjoy your car. Ugh.

Still hot as shit.

Honestly, there are a lot of cars that I’d take over it today that I wouldn’t have before the glass transmission/warranty issues came about.

M3. IS-F. Z06. Probably even your Exige S.

Rule #1: Do not mod a car if you cannot afford to push it off of a cliff.

Smart business move.
Poor (necessary evil?) marketing move.

They’ll be fine, humpers will still hump, haters will still hate.

This humper’s starting to hate, Nikuk.

Understandable.

You can say it’s a necessary evil but I don’t see every other sports car coming with all these issues and warranty voiders.

for the haters, GM does the same thing if you track the car

lol. im sure.

meh i would say rather than hot as shit…more along the lines of looks like total shit…the ass end is HUUUUUGEEEEE in person, and it has the same front end as a new lancer

That and, it is not even 500hp, and the Nurburgring numbers were bogus.
The car gets less impressive at every piece of news.

to be clear: necessary evil to the companies particular business agenda. I have no idea if thats an accurate representation of their goals, but it works quite well in an abstract internet conversation.

I’ll be graduating in 3 years. Median starting salary in the private sector from my school in my degree program is $125,000. 25th percentile is $77,500. I’d say I can tough out the MINI for another 3 years.

MSRP on the GTR is around $76,000.

How don’t the numbers add up?

how does the saying go, if you can’t afford to fix it when it crashes/blows up then you can’t afford to track it? seems pretty standard to me, of course they don’t want you beating the piss out of the thing and then bringing it in for warranty

.

Gen. Auto. Thread.

I have never heard of anyone graduating from college and making 125k off the bat. Not even MDs make that out of college.

Beck is that you?:fry:

JDs do. Top 250 law firms pay $160k starting right now, but that’s only the top 5-10% of the class, so I’m hardly counting on that.

No, I’m not rich yet.

So you are getting a PhD in Law?
