ill just throw the cat outa the bag.

check that site and it shows u every engine every car company ever made. with specs and what car it came in. there are some beefy engines from nissan im sure u will figure it out. but will any of these go in? just curious.

Vk56 Ftw!

The VR are race engines if I am not mistaken.

chris (canadiandrifter240sx) is doing a vh45 swap right now into his bastard child.

does the nissan trucks not have a v8 in it? what are these motors you talk of in? my guess would be trucks. what nissan car has a v8 in it(factory)? they have mastered the I4, I6, v6, but it takes a v8 to pull around weight, i havnt seen to many 350z’s with hitches!!

The big infinitis have the v8 in it like the M45 and Q45. I don’t know if you count that as Nissan though.

I believe the big Titans have a 5.6 but they apparently have had some issues with reliability. What issues? I’m not sure, rumours are rumours.

Yes, this is the VK56 I mentioned… To my knowledge they are very reliable…

Yes, this also counts as Nissan since Infiniti is the North Amercian luxury division of Nissan… I’m 99% sure that Infiniti uses all Nissan engines.

i havn’t heard anything about nissan trucks not being good, my buddies dad’s got a titan and loves it. i would concider infinity nissan, would u concider buick a chevy or a mercury a ford? same shit different pile. was the new skyline not suppose to come out suporting an infinity logo? last i heard it was still being decided. that was a while ago tho. i didn’t know infinity’s came with v8’s, good to know… possibly why a g35 completely embarrashed my poor 240! figured at most a 6. most 6’s arn’t to much of a problem, most family car’s arn’t that fast, even with a big motor, but DAMN.

You don’t get a lot of new cars in Manitoba do you?

The G35 is a 3.5-liter V6.

It makes close to 300hp.

Probably why it embarrassed your 240.

Or possibly you were just high.

I had a G35 for a couple weeks, and yeah, they’ll play with anything der weiner-land can come up with. Bit floaty, and the stupid stability control was waaaaay to intrusive.

Most new ‘family’ cars, even shitty domestic ones make 250hp. I got a chance to rip a brand new Lexus IS350 - also a V6, and supposedly good for high 13-second 1/4 mile times out of the box, with 4 doors and NAV. Traction control can be turned off, but it comes back on after serious wheelspin.

Of course I consider Infinitis as Nissans. I just said that because I thought everyone knew that nissan made v8’s also. So I thought you were just not counting the ones that were in the infinitis. The G35 has the VQ35DE in it, and so does every other new nissan car it seems. I really enjoy the power and the sound of it, but I definately agree that it is too floaty. Especially after being used to the 240sx with coils, I felt like I was driving a boat.

the new g35 is running the VQ35HR
@ 306hp
same numbers as the new VQ35HR
in the new 350z

there is no new g35, if you mean last years model, you are right.

the new g35 is called a g37 and has a 3.7L that I believes produces 330hp and has some fancy features like 4 wheel steering, variable valve and lift, better gas mileage than the 3.5L, etc.
