Most everything I own/drive wasn’t even factory equipped with cats. I’m still here.
i drove from Florida to buffalo with a big hole in my flex pipe and a quarter sized hole in the exhaust directly under the driver’s seat. never once had a problem.
the only time it gets kinda nasty is if i’m sitting somewhere with minimal airflow with the engine running, like in a drive thru, a hot day in a parking lot, etc. i smell the fumes a bit but nothing that’d kill me
i wouldn’t even blink an eye, who cares
