any word from the Dr’s office bro?
I got my shoulders tied back now, and feeling a hell of a lot better.
I think I might even be able to drive manual but I’m not pushing my luck
Bones wont actually start merging for 4 weeks from what I understand.
If they dont heal well within like 2 or 3 months surgery might be needed.
Either way I’ll be stuck with some sort of odd bump shape on the collar bone because they are overlapping.
As if the accent didn’t make you unique enough. :lol
Cossey on Justin’s name.
ouchh
don’t push the healing process vlad…
if you rush it, it may never really be the same once its healed.
i see your suby parked at marat’s everyday… :sad
I don’t know, a week in, I seem more or less normal as long as I don’t try to do anything crazy with the arm. Most of the movement has been there since the beginning, and at the moment, I’m typing with two arms.
I think I got an appointment within a week, and I’ll see what the doc has to say.
I haven’t been on pain meds since the second day, and taking more or less nothing since the third because I’m not in pain. I got the figure 8 strap on me now pulling the shoulders back.
you wont have a noticeable bump for life, just for awhile until the bone mends all the rough edges completely.
I went to the dr’s today, the gap in my shin bone has filled in ALOT.
that should give you some sort of estimate.
Glad to hear you’re getting better, you didn’t have a problem carrying the steelies the other night.
Noticeable bump will disappear, but there will be one I’ll be able to feel forever :ponder
1 week down, 7 more to go.
that just adds character bro. somthin to impress the skanks.
I got other traits to do that with :ninja
i hope your talking about your accent
1.5 weeks down… 4.5 to 6.5 to go
Vlad. Stop driving the CRX.
You’ve been telling me that for 5 years…
and I’ve been telling you that for what, the past year and a half?
you think MAYYYYBE you will listen?!?!?
and it might take longer than 8 weeks.
especially with you always trying to do shit when your supposed to be letting the arm relax.
exactly, u need to take the stress off the arm it it might not heal right and ull have problems later on in life
i said the same thing above…
i have broken some stuff before, and now i can honestly say i should have “babied” it more during healing time. i can already feel the onset of arthritis. :sad
i broke my arm in school, i was ~9-10 and i didnt do anything when i had the cast on it. i could use my hand to hold things, but i didnt take anything bigger than a pencil. i dont feel anything like weather changes or any pains or anything. so it worked out well. Vlad keep in mind your arm will shrink a little bit if you dont use it for like a month or two, but thats normal. u can build it back up using some very light weights and a little excercise. see what your doctor says to do. its a good thing its not a complex fracture of a leg. some of those people lose so much musclemass in the legs they basically have to relearn to walk in PT
yea… that was me with the leg basically.
thanks for fuckin reminding me :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang
Update:
At this point in time I’m pretty much fully recovered. It’s been feeling fine for over two weeks and I have full range of motion, even did a pushup today without problems.
Got an appointment in a week, I’m expecting to hear that I’m as good as new (more or less :confused)
Bone is sticking out more than usual because of the overlap, and there is a sharp drop off point which looks like a bump at the end, but feels fine.
So far haven’t really felt the weather or anything nor seemed to have any problems.
So, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and …
… :banana
