Next time I take the Z on a long road trip, it’s getting this:
thats a great invention, but I would want to see the peeling off process first hand before I trusted it to come off that easily
Yeah that’s my only question too. But for a trip like Indy again this year, this will be key… but it won’t stop concrete parking barriers LAFENGAS :ohnoes:
LOL!! I heard that story at my stag… oops.
although why not just get the 3M stuff that is semi-permanent. I sold an 06 Z06 to a guy from amherst and he did it to his front end, mirrors and right in front of the brake ducts and you couldn’t tell it was there unless you were up close
The whole idea of piecing a “plastic” film over my paint never appealed to me. I always seem to be able to spot it on cars that have it. I like the idea of a seamless product better. And for a car like mine where the hood is very low, I’d like to spray some all the way to the windshield to prevent those perfectly-bounced rocks that manage to make their way up there.

those little rock bastards got me right in front of my ram air… f***ers
just get your front end repainted using that new 3m stuff
Wonder if the quick peel product includes UV protection so the car fades in the sun at the same rate.

I’d never keep it on long enough to find out.

My dad’s company distributes the 3M products in NY and that is one of the ones I like the best. I have the 1/3 hood, front bumper, fenders and mirrors done on the V.
The Scotguard environmental products are pretty good as well.
One question on the product linked is how thick is it? Putting something with a plastic bag thickness would do nothing.
