No more emissions testing.

No inspection would also mean that Cutty could now buy every POS G-body left and drive them whenever he wanted

ya they arnt going to pass that law the union wont let them. but then again i dont have to worry about pa inspections evAR! My registeration is in fla where i own land  got to love loop holes

cool.
EGRdelete

Are there states without the yearly passenger car emissions requirements that have better roads than PA that receive less of this federal funding due to lack of yearly emissions testing? (I’m thinking “yes”, but don’t have the information at hand).

fuck that.

i want emissions testing and annual inspection nationwide. and registration costs to be based on MPG. Putting a plate on a Prius? $5. Putting a plate on an H2? $350.

you’re gay

fuck the enviroment. Do you really think that anything we as humans have done will cause even the slightest change in the enviroment as a whole? The earth has been here for billions of years and we have had cars/planes/factories (and other thangs that cause pollution) for about 100 years, it really does not matter what we do.

They will never get rid of emissons. There thinkinking about getting rid of the 2 speed Idle tail pipe test for cars that are 95 and older. They have been trying to get rid of emissons for years. It will never happen. Your going to start to see it get way worse.

i forget but one volcanic eruption make more pollution than the whole indutrial revolution combined!! whatever we pollute is not nearly as bad as the earth itself pollutes. Emissions is a big giant loophole IMO

Bah…the air is now cleaner than it has been in the past 40 years. The mills/plants were the main pollutants. Cars are a minimal factor IMO. To hell with emissions.

have you ever been in a city? or do you just hang out in the woods all day with your truck? if i park my freshly-washed car in my space at work alongside Grant Avenue, it’s covered in grime within a day or two. Not mud. Not dirt. But this black particulate shit, all over my car.

what does that have to do with the enviroment as a whole?

and no I have never been in a city before, where can I find one?

fuck the whole! (lol…couldn’t resist)

i want clean air in the cities. rural areas are useless.

I’m not 100% sure, but this is probably diesel particulate fallout form bus, tractor trailor, and tri-axles.

Every time I get behind some yocal with a poorly tuned tri-axle I think “Damnit, unburned diesel again on the paint and windshield!” and pass his unburned hydrocarbon spewing ass post-haste.

oh, i’m sure most of the shit on my car is from all the diesels. i think EVERY vehicle on the road should pass a strict emissions test. If a diesel is burning inefficiently, it doesn’t see the road.

in the grand scheme of things - poor emissions from cars/trucks/busses will do nothing to the enviroment. Worry about other things that matter, like whether gays should goto duquesne. :kekegay:

most priests are gay, so why not?

(note: i know that most priests aren’t actually gay. i’m just fucking around. no need for ten pages of argument over a throwaway comment.)

yeah… people acting like air pollution is only produced by car, and that it’s the only pollution, need to re-evaluate things… sure dirty cars and trucks are a problem… but what about old railroads that cause trains to derail and spill chemicals? or shitty barges that dump toxins into rivers during commutes and are used until they just sink. there is a lot of pollution to deal wiht, recent ‘building’ of landfills in rural, but soon to be residential zones…i don’t know… making it harder or more expensive for a consumer to drive a car, isn’t going to positively impact a society in any measurable way.

back on topic about emission testing, I really dont think it will happen but are they getting rid of it?

if they made the saftey inspection once every two years the price will just double for shops to make up for the lost revenue and it will actaully increase the amount of work they do cause most asses will run their cars till they are severly broken and require more repairs.

get the fuck outta my head :bigthumb:
