looks great with the color scheme
I have the Livernois tune on my ecoboost car…I strongly recommend them for a tune…Im getting a 13 f150 and plan on getting the tune from them
I love these.
I was reading about the flex (yeah, I know) but with a tune and meth a guy has been hitting 12s.
Update:
She now has 2500 trouble free miles and I have a SCT on her. The SCT canned tunes are pretty good I can’t complain about them. I also have the 5 star tunes which ROCK. I can’t wait to get the new 93 tune and I’ll probably have them do a silly 110 tune as well.
New intake should be in next week, not really sure if it’ll do anything but I’ll be back at the track for some updates.
Three stock runs, full weight with a 215lb driver in 100 degree Houston weather at Royal Purple Speedway.
As you can see I was still dialing in the 60’ times. If I cut a 2.1 like I did the next three I bet she would have done close to 15s flat stock, but I wanted to get some more runs in before the end of the night.
Here is 2 runs of the SCT tune and one of the 5 star 89 tune. There was a few cars that messed up the track so it made my night short. I’ll have some 5 star 93 tune runs and runs with in intake soon. Note I think the +7 mph actually hurt the 5 star tune. I was missing my peak torque, so I dialed it back to +3 and she runs much better, but I wasn’t able to get another run in.
Remember that all the runs were in 100 degree summer heat with the track only cooling down to about 95. A few runs in winter at 50 degrees will net much better results.
Planning on a full exhaust next. I want low 13s or high 12s on race gas just for fun.
I went 9.49 @ 74.78 mph, 2.21 60’ a few weeks ago with Dad’s 2011 FX4 ecoboost extended cab. You def will see an improvement with better air. His truck only has a drop in K&N filter, otherwise stock.
between browsing shoforum and some of the F150 forums I am amazed that there are any 2.7T audis without a tune on them. The ecoboost guys LOVE their tunes!
So then I added a leaf in the back and leveling kit in the front.
Then I put on some 34" tires… Toyo Open Country AT2
Then I made sure they worked… lol
No more track times, just dyno queen.
double
We need vids/pics of more than one of your vehicles doing heaters please, thanks!
Ps. Finish the damn Vette, lol.
She is close, I was supposed to sell my WS6 but that bitch started on fire, so I’m dealing with that for now.
Dang, pics?
Not super bad but enough to piss me off.
MSD burned up f’ing up my wiring harness.
So I wrapped a rag around my hand and pulled it off on fire… not the best idea but I panicked a little.
Ouch, did it at least do a wheelie for ya?
All that is man!
Yah I’ve pulled the wheels in that car many times, she’ll do um on the street
^haha that picture was right after I pulled the plug wire off. That dark red is straight chard skin. The top layer of skid burned off in like .0001 second. It leaked fluids for a few days lol
Vids of street wheelies plz
:word: or bs
Truck looks good but can’t compete w my z71 boiiiii.
careful with a hand held programmer. we had one experience with a f150 ecoboost and the kid had a henessey programmer on it. it ended up sending the rod right through the piston and then out the side… of coarse warranty will NOT cover after market performance enhancers. now the kid is 17,000 in the hole and it was a lease…
^Thanks but I’m not super worried about it. All my cars are heavily modified. Truck has SCT with custom 5 star tune, catless 3" downpipes, Intake, and resonator delete. Soon to have a larger front mount and improved turbos :-). Looking for 450-500whp when parts become available.
I’ll have to see if I have videos, or if my friends do. There are a few great spots here in Houston where we dig run…the streets smells like VHT and pimp juice…
So I installed the factory trailer brake pachage ($120 on ebgay) and got to do a little trailering with the beast.
Towed the SRT-10 to Dallas (To get a stage 3 trans rebuild, new clutch and new hydraulics at Texas Drivetrain) so I’m guessing I was at about 7,000 lbs.
F150 handled the load great. Didn’t sage too much even though the trailer was front heavy. (So I could open the Dodges door over the trailer fender.)
The 34" tires and 3:55 gears were not helping but it wasn’t bad at all. Stayed in 6th gear unless I was going up a hill. Most of the time it would pull up minor grades in 6th. So over 220 miles it ended up averaging 8.5mpg. Not great but also not bad, I think if I had some 4:10s it would be better, the turbos were right on the edge of staying spooled so boost wasn’t steady. Was able to hit 105 with her pretty easily haha. I kept thinking of that DMax record tow speed on the salt flats.
Stock tow rig.
75mph she is at maybe 1700rpms in 6th
82mph she is at maybe 1900rpms in 6th
82mph she is at maybe 2450rpms in 5th.
