NSX will have to wait...bought a house...

Rear upper control arms, front upper control arms. That’s all. And it’s just so you can get the camber back to normal. Bing can get you that too most likely.

If you’re only dropping it half an inch I doubt you’d even need upper arms. But you might feel more bump-steer.

I secretly wanted to lower it lol

Thanks!

I’d like to put the exhaust on this weekend, looks very straightforward, anything I need to look out for?

It’s dumb easy.

Assuming you’re just doing cat-back, the only headache is all the heat shielding down there that you can just remove anyway.

Make sure you have exhaust gaskets and the proper exhaust hangers in case yours rip on the way out or are dry rotted.

Yeah I bought a cat back and it comes with all gaskets and new bolts! I’m stoked!!

I didn’t like the quad, but I didn’t like the fart can either, I got the topspeed Pro-1, I like the look and sound, got it on clearance too for 500$ from conceptz

yeah control arms to dial in / correct camber from lowering.

you can do spring/strut if you want but i think coilovers are pretty normalized now.

I have an active account with Enjuku Racing and ISR Performance and can drop ship stuff to you. Enjku is probably the best place to source that stuff from anyways and the ISR arms are also great mid-market stuff.

SPL if you ball-out or ISR if you’re just a human.

the whole point of 90’s Nissans is maxing out the suspension and brakes to make them better than european cars… and they are, when done properly.

For the brakes just stainless lines and Hawk HP+ pads will be fine. the 300zx calipers are quite good. i swapped them on to every 240sx that i had.

Just got my pop charger intake yesterday, gonna put it on today!

You’re going to remove a pile of factory parts.

There’s a plastic shield in there that you should keep on though. It’ll keep rain from getting the filter wet. It just gets folded down immediately in front of the filter.

@1QIKZ if you’re feeling nostalgic and want to rebuild my trans you’re welcome to it :grimacing:

I’m sad to admit this but I still have it sitting in buckets partially re-assembled…with all the parts so stop on over.

Still have a ton of all the stuff I bought for it that never got installed.

@Onyx_Z32 yeah the airbox was an asshole, two tiny ass 10mm bolts hidden in the front, had to get ratcheting wrenches to get them out.

There’s a writeup on the forum on where to drill a hole etc I’ll do that today

I never drilled the hole. It’s just one more thing to unscrew when oiling the filter every year or so.

Damn. My trans grinds 4th almost always now. I may have to swing by!

At the time, I actually think I knew what I was doing. I either ran out of patience or ran out of specialty tyranny tools.

@Onyx_Z32 I drilled the hole before I saw your message lol that’s what the instructions said too that came with it.

Anyways it went in fine, much deeper intake sound now. It didn’t stall coasting at high speeds so I think I’m good!

I have a small collection of parts and such if you have any interest. Never had the time to post them up for sale.

I hope a JSPEC bumper isn’t one of them cause I just bought mine XD

Mostly engine parts and such. Stuff I never used. Maybe you can stop out someday and see if there’s anything you want.
