NY about to pass strictest gun laws in nation

I was looking through the law because I was wondering if attached magazines (think lever action) were restricted to 7 rounds and I found wording that made me wonder if they intend magazines to be registered as well as guns. Is this the case?

If someone lives in PA right by the NY 90, you can make LOADS of $$$$$$$$$$

anyone remember this story from a few months ago??

Actually you can have 8 rds in a gun now just gotta keep one chambered lol

Is there a break-down somewhere on what guns specifically are banned? This has prompted me to go out and by a weapon asap. I am deeply disturbed by the loss of rights here.

Did that really say 750 MILLION rounds of ammo? I can’t even get my head around that. Somebody do the Discovery Channel comparison and average out how many tons of lead, brass, primer, and gunpowder that works out to be.

Absolutely love this!

Wow that’s insane! I don’t think I could sell mine. I like it too much.

Hey gun crew

In NY ARs were limited previous with 2 evil features as to avoid being an “assault weapon” and banned.

Now that we are down to 1 evil feature and they’re all assault weapons anyways can we throw the rest of the features on it?

I’m going with no. The guns are “grandfathered” so I would assume they would still need to be legal under the old law. This is one of those things that needs to be answered by the nysp.

^^^New York Shitbag Politicians^^^

The new law replaced the old law.

Now they’re assault rifles with 1 feature

Features were NEVER banned they were used to identify assault weapons btw

Not to mention assuming people register them you can keep them for 30+ years

Or until the next mass shooting and they pass a new confiscation law at 1am because Emperor Cuomo demands it and send the state police door to door using their handy new database of where each legal assault rifle is to find them.

That already happened to NYC btw

I enjoy this

“If a gun owner knowingly does not register with the state within a year, that person faces a misdemeanor charge. If they unknowingly do not register, they face a warning from local police and would then have 30 days to register or surrender their weapon.”

Good luck proving intent

I HEART PA

what if you forget again after 30 days? i mean i limited all my calendars to only 7 days…its hard to keep track of time

No that wouldn’t be how it works…

You could go 2 years+ or whatever get caught say you didn’t know and then you have 30 days to fix it if not you be fucked

BTW

This is pretty clear about whats going to happen and what they wanted to happen

And on the topic of 3D printing

Yeah. Confiscation of “assault weapons.” Today’s 12 gauge pump is tomorrow’s assault weapon on a slope like this.

Curious about M1 Garands, since it would fall under the “curio and relic” section. Anyone have any experience with them? I liked them before this started and was considering picking one up.
