the problem is the 2 people that voted that he be removed from the room.
Yup
These strict laws are very important and I am just not able to buy a rifle because of these laws
A little late to the game cupcake.
Ok, apparently the places that I was seeing this were linking to earlier video footage from the day of or day after the shooting. When of course there was conflicting information every few hours it seemed.
This article below confirms that Lanza had 2 pistols and the bushmaster with him, and a shotgun in the trunk of the car.

This is what I get for posting too soon without looking over everything carefully.
Old news.
Awesome
always wanted to do that
i ordered a Hi-point carbine 9mm rifle the day before the sandy hook incident. It did not come in before the dumb new laws passed and now it’s banned so…
Can anyone recommend something as cheap or nearly as cheap for home defense? The hi-point was going for around $350.
I was looking at shotguns, the Remington 870 express tactical or the Mossberg 500 both are on the top of the list. My hoping to stay under $500 if possible. A tactical/modifiable gun is preferred.
I ordered this the day after the CT shooting and it came in just in time because I think even these are now banned.
are they? i thought all pump action are legal.
Anyone go to this yesterday?

I went with 3 friends. Probably the angriest place in WNY yesterday. Thought it was going to turn into a riot when the Cuomo minions opened it up for questions and said, “ok, we’d like to the press to go into this other room where we will answer their questions, and the rest of you can stay here where we will answer your questions”. Needless to say the media quickly realized the real story was right there and refused to move.
Major props to Sheriff Howard for showing up and openly stating he was against this law. I don’t have his exact quote but it was something long the lines of, “If they can pass a bill like this, what’s to say they won’t be coming after your bolt action rifles next?”.
I am not sure.:gotme: Collapsible stock, pistol grip, scary looking…
Build an IAC Hawk, its like an 870 but cheaper and better.
Only semi-autos for now.
that’s exactly what i’m looking for. i’ll have to see if i can find that anywhere locally. Thanks!
I snagged an 870 recently for home defense/plinking and couldn’t be happier. There’s a reason law enforcement chooses the Remington.
I added a pistol grip/adjustable stock and new forend for a little more BA factor. Went shooting at my family’s land and ran both rifled slugs and target shot at some clay birds (we have a thrower) and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. My home defense ammo is low recoil 00 buckshot.
I got in on the 870 game recently as well.
