ugh it pains me being a state employee and not speaking up but I know where alot of the $$$$ goes and trust me people would be fucking outraged
um…pensions
nah
thats about 1/100th of it
So where does it go other than down the toilet
it goes to the 8 guys standing around watching 1 guy work
What I find distrubing is that through all the increases he proposes, the welfare stipent will also increase 20% or so…WTF!
seriously.
reading that just gave me heartburn
Welfare in this state is rediculous. And even worse in Buffalo. We are know nationally within that demographic as being rather free spirited when giving out welfare benefits. Other states actually advertise how easy it is to get in NYS. Not to mention that the welfare office is a block away from the bus station DT. :bloated:
It really sickens me to think about it. We (NYS) make it less advantageous to work for a low wage than it is to not work at all. We incentive-ize people to leach off the tax payers.
I wish someone did the math and determined how much per tax dollar we pay to ny state, how much ends up in NYC vs the rest of the state.
I wouldnt be suprised if it was something like of every dollar, 98 cents went to NYC and the 5 boroughs in some way and 2 cents of that went to the rest of the state.
Our public education system is way more expensive than theirs, but also way better. Money well spent I say. It pains me to see money for school (that our society will see a return on) go down while welfare goes up.
We are so out of here it isn’t even funny… Can’t wait.
It looks like NY spends about 20 billion more on healthcare than florida.
So between that and education you’ve got our difference
yeah more or less, I mean our agency spends roughly 134 billion a year, alot of it tax payer dollars
you really have no idea the difference, even ask SkunkyPoo about the stupidity level down there
There largest revenue generator is the penny tax. There is a penny tax on EVERYTHING you buy.
No state income tax in Texas at all.
Now that makes me smile!
plus cheap shopping tax
I just read that the last time there was an increase in welfare was 1990.
Yup! I like it down here.
Wait welfare is increasing?
I hope it snows tomorrow
