Yes 100% sure. Cordoba was a medieval city in spain that was conquered by the Muslims. They built a mosque called the “Cordoba House” on the ruins of a catholic church, as a meaning of conquest.

Later in history it was again overtaken and the catholic church was rebuilt. Either way, that was the original name of the Ground Zero Mosque. Now it is renamed to Area51 or some BS like that.
