Anyone got some places to wander too and visit outside of the typical statue of liberty.

I am going for 3 days with my girlfriend for work next week and going to have most of the days free so would be interested in hearing non tourist places to go check out.

Walk as much as possible. Top of the Rock is nice for a view. I did it at night, but I would probably rather go in the daytime now.

DO NOT go to the sex museum. Such a waste of money.

if you like greek/mediterrainean food there is a restaurant called Agnanti in bay ridge on fifth avenue. Great food, price is ok too.

Meh, there are nicer buildings, architecurally, but that is pretty bad ass. I want to visit Dubai someday.
