Did sit around for awhile waiting for my first run, tech was awesome tonight.
My best of the night was 12.5 @ ~107 on a 1.7^ 60ft. Not sure how much movement is normal for drag slicks but in the 3 passes I got in tonight they moved about an inch. Time for some rims and screws. On the BFG drags I was cutting 1.6’s no problem so somethings up. My mph is off a little too, think it might need O2’s.
Last run didn’t really add anything I’m guessing because I spun off the line after they mopped it 
Car sounded good with the “axle back” off 
Steve, we seem to run close times, we’ll have line them up or something one of these days.

yeah thats on the 100 shot. That was my first hit and i have no purge, i think there was some air in the lines as my 1/8th mile trap was only 95. I think the car has a 130 trap in it
Was not happy with the lack of runs…kinda weak that I got 3 runs over a 3 hours time.
But traction was def. an issue, need more seat time/runs to get my launches down better.
I had an alright night. Up until I was asked not to run anymore…

They did stop runs for a long time last night. Anyone know the kid who lost the t-top off his Fire Bird half way down the track? Seems like no one on staff saw it and they kept running cars…

I broke on the 2nd run.
1st run ever in the car was a 13.9 at 100 with a 2.1 or 2.3 60ft. :picard:
2nd run tried to really launch it and the serpentine belt blew off, car wouldnt go in 2nd gear and I may have cracked my alternator bracket when it all went to hell.
That was like an 18 something at 95mph :lol:
It was a great night, perfect weather, and lots of nice cars. Congrats to John for your new best, steve and mike for your new bests, and all the good runs people made. Lots of good times :tup:
I drove to and from the track on my new xfer case, and it seems to be doing just great. I am going to check the fluids today, and then I should be ready to roll!

I WAS hoping to line up with Turbo LS1.
But I’m not allowed back until the car is caged. I guess the car seat isn’t good enough. lol
