NYspeed 24 Hours of Lemons Team

Congrats. Not an easy thing to do when so much can happen.

I’m seriously starting to plan out my own car for next year, so we can “shake n’ bake”!

You guys rock! Any plans started for next year?

Yeah, we’ll probably be at it again next year, and if we collaborate with Jim… a distraction/blocking car/bus and the competitive car… hehe

Looks like it would be a great competitor against the other NY Lemons car.

They got second in their class and in top 10 overall.

That event, and all of the other Lemons races are NOT a full 24 hours. The New England event that he ran in is run noon-10 on saturday, then noon-5 on sunday. The Nelson Ledges event is a full noon-noon 24 hour event.

 Congrats guys, that’s quite an accomplishment.

So… who’s in for this year? It is hard work getting even a shitty car together. And yes a $500 car easily turns into $2000~$3000 after safety, race brakes, great tires, two windshields, and then add in gas.

So save yourself the work and come play with us…

I still Want in

And The Winner Is... lol

LOL

lolol !

lololol

apparently the first Lemons car to be driven to and from the track AND take first place in the process

797 total race miles. 4qts of oil. One of the driver’s pads was metal to metal at the end. The alternator made it. Drove the car home with 360 lbs of nickels behind me. Got a cool trophy. And best of all we SHO’ed the LeMon’s crew that a SHO can win an endurance race!!!

when the transmissions hold together they usually do well in the lemons events. SHO’s are really tough on front tires too.

srsly? no one wants to do a 240Z?
