I am definitely interested in doing this. Nelson sounds like a good time.
how about we keep the car at your gf’s house to avoid spending time removing the glass and mirrors ourselves.
I predict there will be no team NYspeed at lemons this year
Fuck chicanes I want to see half the course the infield. A 90* turn just after the kink @ the over track crossover would slow down the back straight. Now I can’t figure out how to get back onto the track…
At least nothing that would be safe for the pits or bathrooms…
rumor mill:
It looks like Nelson will be a straight 24 hour race as opposed to two race sessions (that usually add up to only 12 hours), and by the rules so far is the only race to be run at night.
I see you took Homer’s advice and put in Speed Holes
team ta-ta’s?
Brian
i have a crx that would work, the shell needs some work but it has a super strong all motor engine. viper pm me!
Year old thread. And you might want to read the rules, you’ll be very reluctant to put a well built engine in the car.
lol…
Have fun guys! and good luck against the crusher / tar-and-feathering / other “fun” penalties… :biglaugh:
weather was o.k, car ran good, but there were 10~15 cars faster than us, might try again next year.
does anyone know a good place to cash in $1500 in nickles
There is a lot of crap in my van, but the heaviest part has got to be the $300 in nickles.
I’m freaking tired I’m using 60 lbs of nickles as a pillow right now on the ride home
nickels
One of the greatest days of my life. We had a good car that ran perfectly, we had a plan that we executed perfectly, and we had good luck, add that up and you get victory! I cannot describe what it felt like to cross that line with the checker waving for US! Not someone else, for US! Jon, Jeremy, Ken, Marty, and myself as drivers. Jim and Marty’s son as crew, we brought it home, now I’m going to bed.
Awesome, just awesome. Nice work.
Why am I still awake? Probably because I buzzed from our victory! Truly awesome to be a part of something epic. Great job to everyone on the team
Thanks a ton Jim. Your help was crucial.
