NYSPEED official bike meet?

^^ Time to buy the Ducati?

Wish I had my camera on me today. Saw some old guy walk out of work, take his shirt off to show his big old beer belly, throw on an American flag bandana, followed by his helmet, and take off shirtless on his touring bike. Priceless! Also saw a bunch of guys on their sportbikes in t-shirts in downtown Cuse, apparently gear isn’t popular.

Gear isn’t popular here either. At Parkside and Hertel some R6 dood pulled up next to me in shorts and a t-shirt. Gave me a nod. I told him " I really like your pants, those are nice, skin tones Rule!!!" I really don’t get it, It’s April 2nd, not all that hot out. Minimal gear is not cool.

Especially with alot of loose gravel still.

most likely not after all the stuff ive read about them, i did see a BEAUFTIFUL yellow 1098 on ridge road a few times today at valvo

Put 200 miles on my first day out on the 636. Absolutely loved it. Never had a steering damper on my last bike, but man what a difference it makes.

I finally took the pan to work, it is most defiantly a hardtail. The roads suck around here this year to. I have to make sure I stay off the softtail for the year haha

anyone going out today and want to meet up??

put 10 miles on the bike and have an issues already. its amazing how 33 cents of snap rings can ruin your day…

So…Myself and the wife met up with 3 other friends to cruise out to EVille about 4PM. We have some dinner, stop at the local coffee spot and are just sitting around. We are looking up some various events on our iPhone and blackberry when we look at the doppler. It is showing light rain all over so we decide we better bolt fast. It’s around 7:45.

We jump on our bikes and head out. That’s when all hell broke loose. The wind was incredible!! I was riding 2-up with the wife and being thrown side to side on the 219. I couldn’t go above 40. It was the most intense ride I have ever had and hope to never experience it again. It is a miracle that we didn’t go down. The wind was like that all the way home. It dropped from 80 to 50 in no time at all. It took us forever to get to my parent’s house in Tonawanda. We were so cold and stressed I abandoned the bike at their house and took the car.

Was a great day prior to that!

Eesh. High winds on a bike can definitely get real nutty real fast. Try riding through them on a ~400 pound sport bike. lol

Sounds like taking the car was a good choice.

Try it with a big batwing fairing pulling your bars from side to side. lol I could have done much better had I been alone. There is the additional handling issue riding with 2 of us. We are not small people either…

Very interesting that all this happened right after I saw Beck in E-Ville and said hello…hehe

We were at the Brick Yard in Lewiston when all hell broke loose and we ate real fast and took off and I almost got blown into a ditch several times. It was intense.

We were playing beer pong outside, ruined any trick shots lol

I put a couple hundred near perfect miles on my first 2010 ride Sat. Odd I saw more bikes parked or on the straight roads then in the area of roads with curves that I was playing in most of the time.

Bump for this thread being lonely!!! and Sac’s Racing. in Tonawanda at corner of Fletcher and Franklin. Holla

Seriously, what’s everyone been doing? This thread was practically being posted in daily this time last year.

Cross posted some pics here from a 315riders benefit ride yesterday. Pics don’t really show the full amount of bikes there, but we had probably around 40. Definitely a good time. I’d be up for leading a NYSpeed ride out here if there were enough guys interested in coming out, there’s some pretty good twisties north and southeast of Syracuse.

716 riders took over the world… didn’t you know?

I’m not a fan of either site.

Also, I’ve only put maybe 700 miles on my bike since march.

Fuck this semester and fuck working 35 hours a week.

u gotz ta get out more!!! between aug n march when i sold the gixxer i put an extra 3k on her =p
