what size are you jacket wise? i have my jacket from last year in my closet that i don’t wear. its a Shift leather/textile jacket. size is a small but its around a 50 in euro sizes. id let it go cheap since i don’t/won’t be wearing it.

So Me, Jason(Goff) and Joe(blackedout) Go for a ride, and this kid with a ZX14 and all sorts of led’s cruises by and pops a U-turn. Catches up to us and asks us if he can cruise with us. So I figure alright sure so we find out that its his first bike and hes been riding since last year. ZX14 for a first bike is pretty insane IMO at least. Well we head through the S-curves on Delaware and i look behind me looking for them and all i see is Jason. So i figure the worst and he told me the guy dumped it. We turn around to make sure hes okay and nothings wrong. Joe and Jason told me he high sided and hit the curb into the grass. He picks his bike up and sees that his frame slider is slammed against his plastics and his stator is leaking a hell of a lot of oil. I recommend that he not ride it because at the rate the oil was coming out i figured he would seize the motor up but he rode home anyways.
Moral of the story, don’t ride over your abilities.
or buy a ZX14 as a first bike…

i reeeeeeaally dont understand why he didn’t see if he could have someone pick him up. fuck even a tow truck is cheaper than a new engine.

wow that sucks… at least he was ok thats the most important thing…so what happened was he just going to fast and drifted outside hit the curb and went high side? anyone actually see it happen or just see the aftermath?
even if they did, what would have happened? if anything they would have helped him get his bike towed.
unless the bike was stolen…
That’s why I tell people not to keep up with anyone on rides. Just ride at your own pace and catch up on straights. He was probably trying to stay with someone that’s better in turns that him.
