Has anyone ever heard that when the coating on headers goes through the first couple of heat cycles that it can damage the O2 sensors?
No…But if so I guess I better change mine out. Been 4 months and according to the little scan tool they still are working fine. It’s just too fukkin rich thanks to the GD headers.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! (unless it makes it faster)

I wouldn’t be concerned with contamination probs,more so with rich condition.
f 02 sensors. 
check the Ohm on them to factory spec
remove the 02 sensors before the cycle :slap:
Yeah, I could remove them, but will I just throw a code or will it affect how it runs? I’ll be lucky if this thing runs right when I’m done with everything in place much less with something missing!
