LOL, the Presidential limo is based on this platform. It’s amazing they even got it to look like as much of a car as they did.

That’s awesome. I didn’t know that was the chassis underneath. But it makes sense though. If you look at how thick the doors are on it, that thing must weigh A LOT.
You do also realize that jet fuel is very similar to diesel fuel.

Then why did they show the limos filling up at the gas station on the corner of Wherle and Cayuga yesterday? Last I checked that station doesn’t offer jet fuel.

I may have worded that wrong: The government requires that the limo has the ability to run on jet fuel.
That doesn’t mean that they do it all the time, but because JP-8 is the military standard fuel for all vehicles, they know wherever they go in the world if they can fly in the limo they can also fuel it.

Makes more sense. I wasn’t aware vehicle diesel wasn’t that far off JP-8. That being the case, and since the military has pretty much made JP-8 their standard fuel, it would make sense the car be required to accept it. Looks like they would rather run regular diesel considering they made a special trip to a Williamsville gas station to top them off though versus filling up at the airport where the security is much better.

of course. I’m sure its more of a emergency measure used more commonly in foreign countries. JP-8 is very similar to diesel other than the fact that the emissions from it would typically wreck anti-emissions equipment.
Nah, that’s the one here at Millersport and N.Forest, and he stopped doing that about 6 months ago. Now he has super priced about the same as everyone else. For a while he was almost a full dollar higher for super than regular.
