I read through the first half of and at first I was thinking stfu up this race shit…it is over with…and minorities have the upper hand now. Then as i read more I realized he is I realized fact is race is an issue with him getting votes. There are a lot of people that won’t vote for him b/c of his race…and there are a lot that may let race slightly influence their vote. I figure this type of speech was try to get the votes of people who are slightly influenced and at the same time to remind the black voters that he is a black man that “understands where they are coming from” (even though I think that is a crock of shit). Overall I don’t like this type of speech, but I understand why he did it. I don’t think he will lose as many votes as he probably gained from giving it. just my $.02
I liked Obama before I found out that he is backing the good ol Rev Sharpton, who I think is a waste of life… as soon as I seen that on Montel the other day… he lost my vote.
