Is there a way to check what the octane level in fuel is? I think the guy at the Petro in Wainwright is ripping people off. I fueled up there to head out to Lloydminster but I car ran like shit the whole where there. I fueled up at a Husky which has 92 octane and everything was perfect from there on out. I approached him and he quickly denied selling shit gas. I don’t think hes running anything better than 89 octane.
Only via lab tests. The Alberta Research Council might have a facility to do it.
