OD button wont work

okay well i drove the eclipse the other day. just around the city here and well there is a stop sign at every intersection so i didnt even get barely into 3rd gear before having to slow down. finally got on a straight way and got on it pretty hard and it wouldnt go into over drive. the button was pushed in like it would if it was on and nothing. and when i pushed the button again to turn it off on the bezel it didnt even light up that o/d was off.

i think this might have something to do with my trans having issues

any dsm guys or anyone for that matter have any ideas?

I though OD was the O Damn…something broke… button

IAC is the idle air control and the TPS is the throttle position sensor both of which have nothing to do with the tranny in my opinion i would say either get a new tranny or a new car like blk42e said.

well since then both of those sensors have been replaced
