Offical "Post Pics of your Puppy" Thread

agreed. i want nothing to do with shitty little yippy dogs

Less than 45lb’s and you might as well have a cat.

I’ll take my 40lb dog over my cat any day

Nice Belgium Travern

Stretching his legs, g/f is 5’ 3". He’ll be 11 months next week.

Hanging out on our way camping.

I’ve already told my friend who works at the spca if she ever gets another Leonberger to call me asap.

We had small dogs growing up. largest one maybe weighing 13lbs max. They were annoying, no fun, barely played, and just turned me off from wanting a dog.

After talking with a friend, she convinced me to consider it. I knew i wanted a larger breed that i could wrestle, play with and was good with people. Thats what made me try and look for a leonberger. I never imagined id find one at the spca though.

It’s spelled tervuren but I’m pretty impressed someone knew the breed instead of “is that a sheppard/collie mix” that I get all the time. They’re such an awesome dog, super smart and loyal but not too common of a breed.

Everytime I walk George I have people tell me that Newfoundlands are only supposed to be black or brown, not black and white. So I know what you mean.

My dane has been confused for a greyhound frequently. The old guy around the block asks if I race her…A neighbor down the street asked if she was a boxer…LOL WHAT? My dog is twice the size of both breeds.

Here’s my puppy. We think she’s about 6 now.

Here she is with her Dane friends on her “birthday”

dane’s are awesome. where I used to live the nieghbor rescued them all the time. she has one now that they said would never walk…you should see the way she leaps over obstacles and prances around the yard…

here’s my little floor wetter

she’s pooped after about 10mins throwing the ball. think she’s about 10 months now.

Potential adoption for us. Should hear about him today. His name is Bubba. Aussie mix. Fat head looks like he’s got some pit in him?

And Bubba already had dibs on him.

Saturday, we got Dug (from the movie Up) from Joyful Rescues out of Cuba, NY. Fantastic folks to deal with. Very quick, very professional, and VERY thorough. Application was this 7 page thing with a bunch of narrative answers.

Anyway, Dug is a 1.5 year old Blue Heeler/Black Lab mix. Very calm, very cool, VERY smart. He’s been hanging out at the shop meeting folks, getting socialized.

nice! he looks awesome

Labs and healers are typically very energetic dogs…you got lucky to find a calm one lol. my previous roommate’s healer was TOO smart, and outrageously energetic…you could simply NOT tire him out. and if there was a ball or a stick nearby, good fucking luck getting him to listen to commands.

Yep, I’ve been around quite a few of them, and this guy is really chill, especially considering the age. Most of the day, he’s laying in his crate next to my desk.

Yesterday, I got a seatbelt buckle tether for him, and drove the wife’s beater in.

Phone/dashcam has voice commands, so please don’t get on my case for moving car selfies.

^awesome, congrats!

I had to out sprint a Blue Heeler on my bike. It was fun. He finally peeled off after a sustained 24mph.

Yeah, I hear they can haul ass a bit. Still working on training this one, so he’s not running free at our place yet.

Got a new pup! AK. She’s 8 weeks old now. Lab/rot mix

Max and AK

AWWWWWWW!
