Were in trouble gang, Lalime isnt gonna cut it and I have zero faith in Enroth, hes been shittin the bed in Portland for the last 8-9 games and most of the season and thats what were hoping for?! No way. I say they make a move for either Kevin Weeks, Mikael Telqvist or Johan Hedberg for the remainder of the season.

Weakes would be a terrible decision. I’d like to see Hedberg signed or Manny Legace, who I believe was waived recently?
What a terrible frustrating loss. kotalik and connolly are the only two players who hit the net and put the puck where they needed to tonight from what I saw.
Legacy would be my choice if we’re bringing someone in, he could come pretty cheap on re-entry waivers too

I dunno If we really need another defensemen. I think we need a power forward. I think they should switch Pominville and Ellis. Ellis may not score every night (nor does Pomers) but every shift he is flying into the offensive zone throwing his weight around and driving hard for the puck.
we need an offensive defenseman. We lost campbell and his role needs to be filled, esp on the power play. On the pp he was replaced by pominville. tdown. Sekera has done a good job stepping up in that regard but we need more
we have 8 healthy d-men at the moment, I’d look to package one of them plus max or hecht for an improvement at forward. We need to get some scoring with Lalime in and Vanek still out
Pominville sucks, I don’t know why he gets so much ice time.
I did hear that Vanek was skating with a full cage at the moment. They also said he had the wires removed and was using rubberbands now. Either way sounds like good news to me.
he is skating…still wearing a red jersey though. nice to see hes back on the ice getting back in shape, but will probably be a little bit until he is cleared for contact.

WGRZ’s Adam Benigni is reporting that Buffalo Sabres goaltender Patrick Lalime missed today’s practice at HSBC Arena due to illness. Lalime, thrust into the starting role due to the injury to Ryan Miller, was in the nets for the Sabres’ 3-2 loss against the Anaheim Ducks last night .
Lalime may have to miss the Sabres game against the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday night. If so, the Sabres would likely turn to 20 year-old Jhonas Enroth, who has never played a game in the NHL. Enroth was a second-round draft pick in 2006.
