I generally stay off the “refs are out to get us” bandwagon but it was pretty clear that the calls in that game were horribly slanted. The NHL will just brush it under the rug. Wonder how long before we have those same refs again.

I dont understand why the league doesnt discipline the refs for that, that was totally uncalled for. Let alone the lop sided calls every time we play the pens.

Its in the leagues favor to have a “start studded” team like Pit go far in the season. So don’t hold your breath for changes in officiating.

In an e-mail to The Associated Press, NHL spokesman Frank Brown said he was checking with the league’s hockey operations department regarding Miller’s complaint.
With it hitting the AP and making the main page of ESPN.com’s NHL section it’s a lot bigger story than some byline in a Buffalo paper.

can’t really discipline someone when all you have is word of mouth on it actually happening. Not that i think Miller is lying, i just doubt anything will happen over it.
