Tough to tell from that angle guys, the versus angle is above and cocked.
The ref at ice level was standing right there and called it good goal, when it goes to Toronto it is pretty damn hard to overturn that unless they are totally sure.

I never understood why they dont have better camara angle…like one in the cross bar pointing straight down…to catch those “On the Line” goals. One maybe at net height where the goal judge is.

im just glad i was driving to and from rochester last night, so i listened to RJ, but i did catch the 3rd and ot on tv, but kept that on mute.
that goal was def close, but either way, i’d love to see if it was somebody else, or even another team… how they would call that.

Rule 27.4 b"Any puck directed into the opposition’s goal by an attacking players stick, by intentional redirection or by accidental deflection, with the point of contact of the stick and the puck about the crossbar of the goal, shall be deemed an illegal goal and disallowed."
Rule 27.4 b1 “Unless that stick belongs to or is being held by Sidney Crosby, Savior Of The National Hockey League.”

53.1 Throwing Equipment - A player, including the goalkeeper, shall not throw a stick or any other object in any zone.
53.1a Exceptions - Only in a temper tantrum, compaining the entire game to the referees that the other players keep touching him, Sidney Crosby may throw his gloves on the ground while stomping up and down. This is a show of entertainment and is deemed an exception to rule 53.1.

the best part is that the ref clarified what happened by saying that the puck didn’t even deflect off a player’s stick after the review.

Every game is not the same. Miller played very very well in yesterdays game! Pucks go towards the net, and they go in… every game…
I’m just sick and tired of hearing “Crosby crosby crosby crosby crosby… crosby crosby… CROSBY!” every fucking day! He’s not THAT great… (he’s good, yes, but not worth the constant attention of everyone) and when I’m watching a game with Toronto vs. the Sabres, the last thing I want to hear is an announcer say “If Crosby was in this game, the Leafs would be winning by two more points” F()@ I’m sick of hearing his name when the two teams playing don’t even have him there!
