they just played a clip on WGR of Ruff saying Kaletta is in a a stabilizing neck brace, but still able to skate lightly

Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) – Lindy Ruff says Paul Gaustad and Nathan Gerbe wil return to the line-up tonight against Washington. It looks like Andrew Peters and Maxim Afinogenov will sit, although Ruff did not confirm that.
Gaustad missed five games with concussion like symptoms. Gerbe was out six games with a hip injury. Tune in to Schopp and the Bulldog at 6:00 for the Sabres pregame. Gaustad will be one of the players you hear from.
Ruff said Craig Rivet is still not ready yet. Pat Kaleta will have to wear a plastic neck collar and will be out three weeks. Kaleta can work out and maybe even skate, but must keep the neck stable.
