Our defense really started to comeback on us and Miller let in some weak sauce as well. To be honest I was surprised that Ruff started Miller tonight.
Miller + Blue liners really cost us the game. Hopefully we get some d-men back soon. Butler and Grandier are not playoff ready and thats what we need right now.
I’ll be the first to say though that it doesn’t help to play back to back games in another timezone.
Fucking pittsburgh won as well, this night sucked for hockey.
Very frustrating game to watch tonight
Miller was not at the top of his game tonight , altho he did have some crucial saves at times but the ones he let in were horrendous. What really, really aggravated me tonight was watching cammalleri chill in front of miller time after time and scoring goals that way. The final goal they scored especially, Rivet should have completely leveld cammalleri on that one he just let him right around him to bang that in the empty net.
The way Calgary totally did the opposite of that tonight really pointed out and showed how bad we were at clearing out the fools infront of miller.
If you watched you saw time after time of vanek or roy in front of kipprosoff ,every Calgary player knocked them flat on their asses every single time hence the reason vanek didnt net one tonight.
