There is a step up at the bottom of FoxFire. It’s got a nice kicker and landing for anyone looking for a decent sized jump.
yeah i was looking at that the whole time, but my thoughts were, “how fucking rock hard is the landing and how much will it hurt if i fucked up!” also I had lessons at 530 last night, so i didnt feel like getting hurt and missing out on that money. lol

lol i was going to stay how pathetic that would be if the place that would get more people, snow, so on, would have shittier jumps than holiday. lol
IMO the jumps at killington were around the same level as foxfire.I wasent very impressed. The vid i got are mostly from the stash.A Burton park with all natural features.
The other big park was called dreammaker.Had about 9 rails at the start.Followed by 3 jumps that were probably 25-30 footers.a Step-up and then a couple more jumps that suck.Couple rails at the bottom.
The third jump on foxfire is probably the same level.I was expecting some crazy ones, but i guess not:gotme:

i heard that with holiday valley, they lost like 2 park guys so everything that is getting maintained this year is being done by like 2 or 3 people.
last night i had to do a lesson/ride with the guys from pit brad, they wanted to go on foxfire, which I’m not park certified but we can still go down it as long as we tell them we cant teach them anything in there. as we show up, i did not know if it was one of the kids in my group that went or not, some kid hit the rainbow rail and lost it at the top, slide off to the right, caught its legs on the rail and flip over backwards to the left flipping on to his head. as I boarded down to see if he was already, i found it wasnt one of my kids. next thing i see is a kid hauling ass to the second jump, kid hits it leaning to far back and with to much speed he overshot most of the landing. i didnt see how he landed but i knew it wasnt going to be good and when i came up to him, it sure wasnt. he landed a little side ways and caught the heel edge swinging him back and hitting his head. he was sitting there for a few minutes, probably a small concussion or something, he went to sit down in the lodge after. lol

I was down there last night, conditions were better than I expected them to be. Nice hard-pack, with a few icy spots; but overall pretty decent conditions.
