Rebuilding decade seems more appropriate!
The Bills have announced that Dick Jauron will remain the Head Coach of the team. Owner Ralph Wilson made his decision today from Detroit. He released this statement:
"It is well known that I share many of the fans’ dissatisfaction with our offensive game management. That being said, I believe that this team, at this time, is better served by coninuity in the coaching staff rather than a disruptive overhaul. The team played hard all year long and there are many positives to build on. This is not to say that we will be complacent. in my discussions with Dick and our senior football people the issues are recognized and I am confident they will be addressed.
I believe in the last few years we have gotten close personnel wise and look forward to another strong draft, more assertive veteran leadership and continued improvement from our young quarterback."
oh man… can’t wait to read the editorials tommorow
I agree but disagree at the same time.
sigh
one more 7-9 season coming up
:bigclap:
:picard::picard::picard::picard:
but i thought you weren’t bitter about that, it was all me making that up in the other thread… lemme rewind to what joe said earlier incase you missed it: if the pats would have beaten the chargers then they would have made the playoffs
sucks that they could beat a “shit storm” , but hey they deserve to be in anyways, right?
I need to find a new favorite team
ughhh, i highly doubt that we will even be a 7-9 team next year after this later half of the season.
Buffalo will be last next year garunteed.
stop being a fag, look at the time stamps
but i gotta get my shots in
:walter:
:highfive:
:lol::lol::lol::lol:
They should broadcast bills games on Comedy Central!
I guess he wants to make sure Toronto doesn’t even want them? Seriously if this was any other football town with the exception of maybe green bay, the fans would just stop going. We’ll start out 5-2 area again next year, everyone will get on the bandwagon and then us Bill’s fans will once again have to endure a buffalo winter
So no coaching changes at all?
in related news, Jauron has announced that j.p losman will be his starting qb going into 2009 lol
from wgzr.com
As for any assistant coaching changes, Wilson said “I really don’t think that will happen, and if it does, that’s totally up to Dick”.
How about front office or scouting staff changes? “Naw, I don’t think we’ll be making any changes there either”, Wilson said.
When I asked Wilson if he felt disgruntled fans who felt Jauron should be fired might not renew season tickets, he just laughed and said “they’re losing season tickets all over the league, and it’s mostly the economy”. In other words, his decision to retain Jauron isn’t really based on the bottom line.
Wilson also said, when I asked him how he’s doing, “I’m hanging in there pretty good for an old guy”, and he did say he’s happy to have the decision about Jauron out of the way so that everybody in the organization can move forward.
Might as well re-sign Losman:picard:.
Jauron should bench non-performing players like Ruff does. Although that’d probably be half the bills.
This sucks, I guess atleast were not the Cleveland browns who didnt score an offensive TD in like the last 6 games but atleast they fired their coach.
It seemed like Dick was thinking to himself the last 1/4 of the season that hey he already has a 4yr contract, the teams playoff hopes are gone, this city blows, lets sabotage the last few games in hoping to getting fired so he can get paid sitting on his ass for 4 yrs. in a warm climate.
just in! The Broncos know how to get things done-
Shanahan is surprising… sometimes you just have to shake stuff up I suppose.
.
We should pick up Shanahan.
