dont even get me started…i’m glad its hockey season
defense fail, LOSEmanfail
but mainly you can hang this on the defense
what about the fact they never challenged the Royal fumble?
his knee was clearly down and he got his ankle twisted , thats when he let the ball go…
fucking poor coaching
Losman was pretty decent all things considered
The defense couldnt stop them on 3rd down to save their fucking grandmothers lives
I think the penalty on 4th down (the field goal) that gave them a new set of downs was the turning point in the game, it was all downhill from there
Trent edwards being injured was the turning point
it didnt help thats for sure
we were right in it until the 3rd however
losman bashers will always be just that losman bashers your back up qb isnt supposed to come in throw for 400 yrds and 4 scores hes supposed to come in and do exactly what jp did 220 and a score.
when your starting qb goes down your defense steps up not your qb goes down so jp losman wins the games start to finish… if he could he would be the starter.
all that being said trent will be fine before the chargers game and jp can be where jp belongs on the bench…but to blame jp is ridiculous its a TEAM game and the TEAM played like shit.
all in all no one on here 2 months ago woulda said ill be fucking pissed if the bills are 4-1 at the bye so come down off your high horses and get off the band wagon if you cant handle the bumps in the road
^ Well said. :bigclap:
I still fucking love this team. This loss is nothing. Especially since we at least got the points we did without Trent.
well there is no doubt that losing trent took the wind out of everyone’s sails. 3 turnovers by a QB is unacceptable now matter what way you put it.
oh hai… and guess how many 3rd downs were converted in the 2nd half by the bills … 0 3rd and 6 or farther is JP’s problem he did not solve that.
And other than the 87 yard pass to lee evans… losman didn’t have a great game at all … 143yards and an int. thats pretty poor… IF you ahve an 87 yard strike you should be in the 300 yard passing range.
But JP is not 100% at fault… he is about 65% at fault. Lynch could have ran a little better (minus 22 yard gain he had 33 yards @ under 3 yards per carry), Defense not stopping the 3rd downs.
you can’t honestly tell me that you dont notice a difference between when he is in there and when trent is. its the SAME things as last year…when he’s in there, there is no control, the offense just looks lost. take away his bomb to evans (the only thing he ever has had, not denying he can throw the deep ball) and what did he really do? held onto the ball too long and made poor decisions…yep sounds like jp of old to me, which is why we called for trent in the first place.
yes, the TEAM lost that game, but what people are also getting at is that trent edwards is a much more capable qb than losman. jp may have an arm, but he just does not have the smarts, and it shows, time and time again
17 points off turnovers too and 5 sacks for 40+ yards
Agreed. They were talking on TV about it to and he was getting plenty of time to throw the ball. Even 4 and 5 counts which is more than enough time for a pro QB to find a reciever and throw the ball unless the Cardinals were just so amazing that there was never a receiver open.
it looks to me that the team doesn’t play for losman. however when Trent is in there they play sooo much better… idk it just seems to me that when Trent is their leader they play a lot better
Because Trent is a leader, and Losman is not!
edit i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again… Losman = Rob Johnson
My point.
I really feel that they knew they had no chance with JP in there (offense and defense). I know a lot of the team dislikes him as a person too so that would explain the poor play by the o line.
The D looked so bad too. I don’t even know where to begin with this game. It was just so bad on all fronts which really scares me.
I feel Hamdan could be a better QB than JP. He is so bad imho.
i was discussing that with my friends, i was saying how long it would be before the line linebackers just start letting losman get hit.
i mean they are out there doing their job protecting the quarterback and giving him ample time to throw the ball and then 5 seconds goes by and your quarterback is still holding the ball, id be pissed too.
anybody notice how whenever jp throws a short pass he throws it at the ground giving the receiver no chance of making a play afterwards
JP should be able to come in and run the offense without skipping a beat. He obviously has not learned anything here in Buffalo, he still gets into panic mode everytime the team is down, stays in the pocket and fumbles or gets sacked. I would of rather seen Hamdan in after JP took took 2 sacks in a row because he cant just throw the ball away and sense pressure.
I was at the game and we still had a great time even though they lost. We met Lee Evans and Marshawn outside of Margaritaville next door to the hotel they were staying at. There was also a Bills backers party at the bar next door to my hotel. 200 Bills fans were there alone. It was nice to see the Bills be represented so well by their fans so far from home. The new stadium in Arizona is really nice too. I’ll take 4-1 going into the bye but I hope they can get their shit together.
guys, i think we needed this as shitty as it sounds. This was a good wakeup call. the bills need to start playing with more urgency. They were too relaxed and they paid. They paid with injuries and an embaracing loss. It was poor play on all sides of the ball. The offensive line needs to start protecting. Every game i cringe when i see edwards take a hit cause he hung in the collapsing pocket to make a play. This time edwards didnt get up and shake it off.
The defense played too soft. They were playing the whole game expecting the long ball and we got killed on the short throws and conversions. The bills just werent prepaired for the game they played. These are the games we need to bounce back from.
